Charter Rights / Constitution
Canadian Identity
Election Reform
I will advocate for the government to respect and follow the Charter and the Constitution in full. No more making exceptions and bending/breaking the laws. I would change the definition of “hate speech” to be more specific. For example, speech or text that advocates the use of physical force or limitation of access to goods, services, and/or employment against identifiable groups or individuals based on Charter-protected criteria.”
I will advocate for the repeal of M-103 as we already have the protection of discrimination included in our Charter.
I will advocate for post-secondary schools to not receive federal funding if they have been shown to violate the Charter of its students or faculty.
I will advocate for the continuation of our national plan supporting the path to citizenship for new qualified immigrants and refugees. I want to repeal the divisive Multiculturalism Act and support programs that develop and promote unity and inclusiveness among Canadians.

Economy / Public Finance
Equalization Payments
Interprovincial Relations
Climate Tax
I will advocate for the removal of the Carbon Tax/levy/fee, any cap-and-trade system, or any other carbon-based schemes that will result in higher costs and empowering private companies to make any changes they want to based on their customer preferences.
I will advocate for the reduction of corporate taxes from 15% to 10% over 4 years. This federal tax reduction would include small businesses and the agriculture industry. Paying lower taxes will save money and those people will be able to upgrade and expand their businesses, leading to more jobs and/or cheaper products/services manufactured and produced in Canada.
I will advocate for a simple 3-tiered tax system. If you make $15,000 or less, then you would pay 0% (zero) federal tax on that. Above $15,000 and up to $100,000 the tax rate would be 15% (fifteen), and over $100,000 would have a tax rate of 25% (twenty-five). This is significantly easier to work with when budgeting or completing your taxes as the 3 tiers of even numbers as opposed to the current 5-tier system of what seems like random amounts*.
I will advocate for fiscal responsibility through a sensible federal budget. By doing so, our objective first and foremost is to reduce and eliminate the deficit. Furthermore, the national debt is and will always remain a challenge for Canadians for generations. To this end, I would end budgeted subsidies and bailouts for corporations and NGOs.
I will advocate for the elimination of wasteful government programs.
I will advocate for the government to review and recommend a new equalization formula to make sure that only the provinces with the greatest needs benefit from it. This will make provincial governments more responsible for their policy decisions and incentivize provinces to adopt pro-growth policies.
I will advocate for the government to follow the Constitution and only allow those who have signed onto it to benefit. The federal government cannot play favourites and must treat all provinces equally and fairly.

Energy Sector
Pipelines
Nuclear
I will stand by the Constitution, specifically section 92(10), that Parliament can declare any project to be for the general advantage of Canada and have pipelines built. This will create thousands of jobs across the country and will save Canadian's money because the cost of buying and/or transporting will be cheaper.
I will advocate for the expansion of nuclear energy because it is safe, environmentally friendly, cheaper, reliable, and powerful. With the expansion, we would have a nuclear waste recycling centre that would use spent fuel rods a second time to create more electricity, just like they’re doing in Europe.

Environment
Climate Change
I will advocate for Canada to remove itself from the Paris Climate Accord as it costs Canada’s money and economy and we already produce a tiny percentage of CO2 while we absorb more carbon that we produce and yet other countries like China are allowed to produce massive amounts CO2 at will.
I will advocate for the removal of the Carbon Tax and any other carbon-based taxes and/or fees and/or levies and leave it to provincial governments to have any programs to reduce emissions if they want to.
I will advocate for the abolishment of all subsidies for green technology and leave it to private individuals and organizations to develop profitable and efficient alternatives. Costs go up when the government is involved.
I will advocate for prioritizing solutions that are actually practical in order to make Canada’s air, water, and soil cleaner. This would also include clean drinking water to remote First Nations communities**.
While the climate is changing, it always has and always will. The medieval warming period was significantly warmer than it is now. The dinosaur age was significantly warmer than it is now. Temperature fluctuations are nothing new or significant. The same with carbon levels because carbon levels have been higher and lower than now. Carbon is a wonderful plant food. Without it, we wouldn’t have any plants and without plants we wouldn’t have any oxygen to breath. If we want a greener world, we should keep our carbon levels where they are. Lots of green houses and aquarists use CO2 to help their plants grow but certain interest groups claim that carbon is bad.
I will advocate for the sharing of accurate and scientific information when it comes to climate and carbon and not give tax-payer money to “green” corporations that only help line their pockets at your expense. If a person wants to support something, anything, then that person will but it shouldn’t be forced for everyone.

Indigenous Rights
I will advocate for the government to work with the indigenous to find a way to replace the Indian Act with a new replacement option that would guarantee the indigenous to have equal rights and responsibilities, just as with other Canadians and would also go towards the self-reliance of indigenous communities.
I will advocate for options to empower the indigenous through individual property rights on reserves as well as to take more ownership of their infrastructure and services that they receive through various levels of government. This will give those individuals more power over their lives. As most people know, something that is not owned by someone is not cared for as well as if the same item owned by an individual.

Veterans Affairs
Veterans have had such a significant impact to Canada, and we must respect them and their sacrifices. To this end, I will advocate for the government to legislate the country’s obligations to our veterans so that they will never again be told that they are asking for more than we can give.
I will advocate for the Pension Act’s fair disability pension to be reinstated retroactively to 2006. Any lump sum payments received since 2006 will be considered as advance payments.

Global Affairs / International Relations
I will phase out foreign development aid and focus our international aid towards emergency humanitarian crises, such as natural disasters, major conflicts, and health emergencies.
I will advocate that Canada regain autonomy from the UN by choosing our own path forward regarding global issues. The first step to this would be leaving the UN’s Agenda 21 and 2030, the Paris Climate Accord, and the UN’s Global Compact for Migration. By allowing the UN and other nations dictate to us how we should run our country undermines our sovereignty and laws.

Immigration
Refugees
I will advocate for the declaration of the entire Canada-US border be considered on official port of entry. This will force any person who enters illegally into Canada be returned to their most recent point of departure. We need to take all measures, in partnership with the US, to stop the flow of illegal migrants at the Canada-US border.
I will advocate for the reliance on private sponsorships for the costs of resettling refugees in Canada instead of the government.
I will advocate for Canada deciding which refugees to select and not the UN.
I will advocate for the selection of immigrants be based on Canada’s needs in respect to economic deficiencies within our country.
I will advocate for immigrants wanting to enter Canada to go through a face-to-face interview in either of Canada’s official languages (English / French), which will assess the extent to which they align with Canadian values and societal norms. In addition, the RCMP, CSIS, and Canadian and Immigration and Citizenship must have sufficient resources to conduct the interviews and complete thorough background checks.
I will advocate for Canadian citizens to have priority access to employment opportunities within Canada. With the understanding that some areas may require additional temporary foreign workers to maintain or grow their successful businesses. These temporary foreign workers will be limited in their duration of stay and their access to taxpayer-funded social services.
I will advocate for the removal of birth tourism. Canadian citizenship is special, and we should not allow anyone to receive it by default by just being born in the country while on a trip.

Firearms
Owner Rights
Navigating Canada’s firearm laws is difficult to do as there are multiple acts and regulations. To simplify Canada’s firearm laws, I propose we unite all existing laws and regulations to create one new and more simplified act with more specific definitions. Any future changes to firearms laws shall be completed through Parliament on the recommendations presented by a specialized committee (Department of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness). This committee shall be comprised of qualified experts in the firearm industry and law enforcement.
We will still have a licensing system that makes safety courses and background checks mandatory, but licenses will be valid for a 10-year period (like Canadian Passports).
Regarding the purchase and sale of firearms our current practices with licensing and background checks is sufficient for the safety and wellbeing of Canadians. Prevent criminals from obtaining smuggled firearms by having a stronger border enforcement with both Canadian and American agencies.
Allow the discharge of all firearms on your own property where the local municipalities allow for the discharge of firearms. For example, a farmer who also competes in shooting competitions should be able to use his or her land to practice on.
I propose that this new act will categorize firearms based solely on function so that sport shooters, hunters, and collectors do not have their firearms reclassified overnight, making them criminals if they want to keep their own property.
The new magazine restrictions would be in line with competition shooting, meaning up to thirty rounds per magazine as rifle competitions outside of Canada use those as standard and giving Canadians a disadvantage when competing is not fair.

Other Issues
I will advocate for the re-consideration of Wynn’s Law, making sure that at bail hearings the judges will be aware of the history of the accused. This would have saved the life of Constable David Wynn.
I will advocate for election reform by working with the public and other organizations to produce a solution that offers fair and equitable representation to all provinces and territories. I feel election results should not be publicized until after the last poll closes.
I will advocate for recall elections. If a MP is not doing his/her job satisfactorily, the people in the riding should have a legal method to have him/her removed from office.
I will advocate for stronger governmental accountability and transparency laws with stiffer penalties.

* The gross income of a full time employee (37.5 hours) earning minimum wage ($14.35/hr, Oct 1/21) in Ontario is currently $27,982.50/ 52 week year. In 2020, in Ontario, there were approximately 5.848 million full time, and, 1.232 million part time employees. Being a full time employee in Ontario does not come with a guarantee of minimum hours therefore many full time employees could be earning as little as 28 hours per week or $20,893.60 gross per year using the rate above. The average cost of an apartment in Ontario is $1,934 per month or $23,208 per year in 2021.
** The budget for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) is $1.3 Billion per year. Their viewership is below 500,000 at its' peak during The National News broadcast. The CBC budget for only 4 years would eliminate the drinking water and waste management crisis in all First Nations communities in Canada. An estimated 312,000 Indigenous people lived on reserves in Canada.
